To enhance readability, text is broken down into digestible segments, and an interactive AI provides context for why each candidate appears in the results. The search loading interface keeps users informed about the search process, showing the first candidate as soon as it's available and using a skeletal view for the remaining results. Additionally, users can follow searches to receive email notifications about new results, ensuring they stay updated with the latest information.
To encourage user sign-ups while managing serch costs, we strategically limited the visibility of search results. Users are shown enough data to gauge the value of the information, but key details like email addresses are partially obscured. We experimented with various methods to present compelling snippets of data—such as titles and brief summaries—that highlight the benefits of full access. By balancing the need to showcase the search engine's capabilities with the necessity of prompting sign-ups, we optimized the experience to convert interested users into subscribers effectively.
